I’m a Wild Turkey fan, from their 101 to the Master’s Keeps. It’s a personal toss up between the Russel’s Reserve line and the Wild Turkey offerings. At the end of the day, I’d take a Master’s Reserve ONE over the all of the Russel’s Reserve private barrel selections that I tried so far. So this one is too easy to drink with a very unusual black pepper finish. Again, I’m not going into the nose, front and finish, but it’s just my personal best.
How to get a bottle
This one is allocated. I’m lucky to have ties with Japan, and I can get bottles fairly easily. I got this at almost MSRP $170. You can probably get a bottle on the secondary market for about $250 – $300. Better yet, plan a trip to Japan as the exchange rate is very favorable and flights are inexpensive in 2024.
